America TPU Demand Surges By 20-30% in Q1-Alliance Polymers

PUdaily, Shanghai-Based on Alliance Polymers and Services, L.L.C company, the new distributors of BASF TPU products, demand for TPU and other flexible elastomer in the first quarter will come out an increase of 20-30%, with an obvious increase in automotive sector.

According to the sales results and clients feedback in last fourth quarter, Alliance Polymers, a distributor offering storage, distribution, shipment and technology services for TPU and other elastomers processing, made such a prediction.

Stpphane Morin, one of the partner of Alliance Polymers said that compared with other polymers sales, demand and orders for TPU went up quickly in the last several months. He also pointed out that we saw large boom in automotive sector because soft materials are highly needed in such sector. Alliance Polymers predicts that such increase is just the beginning of demand recovery in emerging market. TPU products, of easy processing, can be applied in many sectors and future demand will continue to surge up.

Alliance Polymers, located in Romulus, America, offers storage, distribution and technology services. Its founders Morin and Roger J. Huarng all have worked in BASF.
